Without both full birth dates, this result cannot tell you the exact time between two births or the difference between the ages they have reached today.

Can I enter the younger person's year first?
Yes. The calculator returns the absolute difference, so the order of the two birth years does not affect the result.
Does a result of zero mean the same birthday?
No. It means only that the two birth years are equal. The month and day may be different.
Does this calculate an exact age gap?
No. It compares birth years only. Exact elapsed time between births requires both complete birth dates.
