Count days for trips, projects and events
Use any two Gregorian calendar dates to measure a period. Weekends and public holidays count as ordinary days. This tool does not calculate business days, working hours or legal deadlines.
Should I include the end date?
From 1 September to 10 September 2026, the date difference is 9 days: 1 week and 2 days. Including both dates gives 10 days: 1 week and 3 days. For a trip, choose the option that matches whether you want calendar dates visited or the elapsed date difference.
Calendar days, not hours
A leap day counts when it falls inside the selected interval. The calculation compares dates without times or time zones, so daylight-saving clock changes do not create fractional days. Dates stay in your browser.
